With some of the most glorious view in the area and a stunning new infinity pool, Trullo Occidente is a true gem of a villa for a family or small group.

The trullo sits on the side of a shallow valley with rock gardens around the modern angular infinity pool with olive and fruit trees surrounding the property.

The property has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus an extra sleeping area ideal for two children sharing. There is a small but perfectly formed kitchen and dining area inside along with plenty of space for dining and barbequing outside. You will probably spend most of your time enjoying the views around, and refreshing dips in, the infinity pool from which you can gaze over the Valley towards Locorotondo and Cisternino and marvel at the changing colours of the Pugliese sunset.

The house is compact yet beautifully restored and ideal for a couple with children or a small group of people. A truly authentic trullo offering all comforts and conveniences for the perfect holiday.

Trullo Occidente is perfectly located for a combination of total peace and calm and exploration. While being fully immersed in the countryside guests will only be a few minutes from amenities and all the most famous hilltop towns of the Valle D’Itria. Take a ten minute drive up to Martina Franca or out to Cisternino, or stop off for a wander round the famous White City of Ostuni on you way to the beaches of the Adriatic coast.

Guests will also find the pathway of the Pugliese aqueduct on their doorstep which is a delightful place to go for a morning run or a long lazy walk after a typical Southern Italian lunch.

Trullo Occidente is situated on a small gravel track off a country road that runs through the countryside on the Valle D’Itria. There are a handful of other holiday homes in the area, but all are completely private from one another.

The property is south west facing providing guests with the most incredible backdrop to al fresco dining, luckily to contrast the spacious and sunny garden there are the thick stone walls of the trullo and outdoor pergola offering an escape from the midday sun.

The Valle D’Itria and surrounding areas are easy to navigate however you will require a hire car to get about. The property is located almost equidistant (approx. 60 minutes) between Bari International airport and Brindisi airport. You can fly to one or the other using British Airways, Alitalia, Ryanair and EasyJet among other airlines although they may only fly during peak season.

This part of Italy is not well equipped with taxi services, however if you do require a driver or taxi please contact VillaPuglia directly for help and information.
